Ceylon Nilwala

6CNI
A Ceylon tea with a particular shape, also called "wiry": the tea has been withered a little longer, so that the leaf loses more moisture and can be rolled with more pressure. Through this, the taste of the tea is closer to the taste of Chinese black teas.

Such teas are only produced in the Lowlands, where the prevalent tea plant varieties are a crossing of assamica and sinensis varieties, with a large part of assamica.
