Dong Ding 1980

Original Dong Ding of the 1980 harvest in very good quality. It has been rolled in the original way, i.e. it does not have the "perfect" and "beautiful" ball-shape as we know it today. Moderately roasted and stored in Taiwan until 2011.

Dongding is the name of a mountain where tea has been produced since approximately 1850. The gardens are situated at an altitude of approximately 800 meters and are thus not considered High Mountain Teas. Nonetheless, the climate is very well suited for growing teas of excellent quality: often sunny in the morning, foggy in the afternoon, and frequently windy.
