Maccha Uji Okumidori

Very nice ground Tencha from Uji, still the most famous tea region in Japan. The pluckings comes from a tea garden in Uji, which has been shaded for longer than average, from the Okumidori variety. It replaces the sold-out Maccha Uji Samidori. Please store in the fridge.

This tea is meant for Chanoyu (the japanese tea ceremony) and suitable for for Usucha (thin tea).

Due to a shortage of matcha tins, this matcha is currently only sold in bags.

We were able to purchase a small shipment of matcha tins separately. You can order these free of charge with your matcha order if you wish. Please leave a comment to this end when placing your order. In the interests of environmental sustainability, we kindly request that you refrain from ordering a tin if you still have an old one.
