Wu Yi Dan Cong

A particular and rare Wuyi Rock Tea of great quality. It is made from Shuixian-teaplants, and yet, it is not a typical Shui Xian. Maybe the tea trees have been brought onto Wuyishan from the Phoenix region (i.e. Chaozhou)? In any case, the tea reminds of a Phoenix Single Bush, hence the name: Wuyi Dancong - a Phoenix from Wuyishan! Nonetheless, the mineral notes and the rather intense charcoal roasting give this tea the typical tastes of a Wuyi Yancha.
