Damenglong Mengsong 2015

This Pu Er of highest quality has been produced by Les feuilles Vertes on request by Länggass-Tee. This tea is from Jinghong Mengsong (Damenglong), made from old tea-trees, produced in traditional fashion and sun-dried.

The tea garden is located in a deserted and quite isolated part of the mountain, where some very olf tea-trees grow.

Historically, this tea was produced for the emperor, later, the leaves have been sold to Bulangshan and the local production has been abandoned. Recently, the people have become more interested in their traditions and the production of tea under the name Mengsong has begun again.
