Noble lidded cup from Dehua, white, matt, transparent, for Gong Fu Cha. The name jade porcelain refers to the milky, translucent characteristic. Dehua has been known since the Ming dynasty for its high-quality porcelain, which was exported in large quantities to Europe under the name "blanc de chine" in the 18th century.
