Dian Hong (Yunnan-black tea)
Meng Hai Shai Hong 2017
6CMHS
Very nice black tea from various tea gardens in Menghai county from older tea trees that are less than 100 years old. Pressed to a cake in the shape of a mooncake. Shaihong can be translated as "sundried black tea". Since recently many places in Yunnan have started sun drying black teas as it is done during the traditional processing of raw Pu Er, instead of drying them in the oven (as is usually the case).
