Maccha Uji Kyotango

A beautiful, creamy maccha from the Uji region, one of the most famous and historic tea regions in Japan. Kyotango is located in the north of Kyoto Prefecture and thus within the official canonical area for Uji maccha. However, it is a newer tea-growing area outside the traditional Uji tea region.

Ground green tea of the very best quality and freshness, if still unopened, should be stored in the fridge. (English spelling: Matcha Uji Kyotango)

This tea is meant for Chanoyu (the japanese tea ceremony) and suitable for for Usucha (thin tea).
