Pu’er of the very highest quality – created through the cooperation of Länggass-Tee and Les Feuilles Vertes. Produced in many years of close collaboration with the local tea farmers.
From the village of Laoman’e on Bulang Mountain, made from ancient tea trees, traditionally processed and sun-dried. After Laobanzhang, Laoman’e is the most sought-after tea from Bulang Mountain.
The village of Laoman’e lies in a basin; the surrounding hills are covered with old tea trees, and behind the tea gardens stretch subtropical forests. A natural and pristine environment that benefits the tea.
In Laoman’e, two types of tea plants are distinguished: Ku Cha and Tian Cha. The former is bitter and powerful, the latter sweet and restrained. When blended together, as in this production, they create a balanced tea. Pu’er from Laoman’e is famous for its bitterness, which is considered uniquely clear and concentrated.
