Beautifully handcrafted caddy, that will alter its colour as it ages. Made by Kaikado in Kyoto. Ideal for daily use. Protect from wetness (i.e. do not store in the fridge).

The Japanese manufacturer Kaikado was founded in Kyoto in 1875. The manufacturing process developed by the founder has been passed down through generations. It is always carried out by hand and involves around 130 incredibly precise steps. Although circumstances are constantly changing, this long-established method of production remains unchanged, as this is the only way to ensure that the essential value of the caddies endures. The company emphasizes that not only the manufacturing process, but also the products themselves can be passed down through genererations and will become even more beautiful over time.
