Zhong Ye Zhong
Some local tea plant varieties have medium-sized leaves and are grouped together as Zhong Ye Zhong (medium leaf variety), sometimes also Zhong Xiao Ye Zhong (medium small leaf variety). Local varieties are called Zhong Ye Qun Ti Zhong in analogy to the small-leaved varieties, for example:
An Hua Ben Di Qun Zhong or alternatively An Hua Qun Ti Zhong (local colony variety from Anhua)

Qi Zhong (strange, weird variety) is the local variety in and around Wuyishan. It is mainly used for black teas, but also for top qualities of Dahongpao.
Zi Cha Zhong Ye Zhong (purple tea medium leaf variety) is a special, wild-grown tea plant with purple leaves, which probably originates from Yunnan Da Ye Zhong.
Da Liu Ye Zhong, literally "large willow leaf variety" is grown in Yong Xi for green tea (Yong Xi Huo Qing). Also called Yong Xi Liu Ye Zhong.
Si Chuan Ban Qiao Mu is a cross between Lao Chuan Cha and Qiao Mu Da Ye Zhong and is used for green teas in Sichuan (e.g. E Mei Mao Feng).
Gan Cha 1 Hao (Jiangxi Province Tea No. 1) is a tea plant with medium-sized leaves developed in 1991 that is used for green tea there (Lu Shan Yun Wu or Mist&Cloud Tea), among other things.
Zhu Ye Qi (oak leaf even) is a breed by the Tea Research Institute of Hunan Province from the local variety An Hua Qun Ti and is used in various provinces for green teas and Heicha, developed from 1954-1974.
