Tong Jun Mei

Tong Jun Mei, "the copper eyebrow of the noble horse", is the third quality of the Jun Mei black teas from Tongmuguan at Wuyishan. While the top grade Jin Jun Mei is exclusively made of buds, Tongjunmei is made from the harvest of a bud and two leaves. Both teas are produced from the same tea plant variety (either Qi Zhong or Caicha), just like the Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong, however not smoked like the latter. Like Jinjunmei Version 2005, this Tongjunmei is also produced by Liang Junde.
