Very beautiful anthracite-coloured tea-pot with handle made of clay (jap. Kyusu), with a clay strainer inside for Japanese teas (loose-leaf teas like Sencha, Gyokuro etc.). Ceramics from the Family Nankei in Mie is manually produced craftmanship, while it can be noted that the the family is specialised in producing Kyusu.
Measures: Volume 300ml, Diameter 102mm (158mm with handle), height 71mm. Forms a set with the large cup Kumidashi.
