Yi Xing Hong Cha

A wonderful Chinese black tea of very good quality. It is around Yixing that the famous tea pots made of clay and other tea accessories are made. The population there, and even the artists, love to drink above all the local black tea, which is Yi Xing Hong Cha. It had probalby been produced for the first time in the middle or towards the end of the 19th century, shortly after they started producing black tea in Qimen (Keemun), too.
