Elegant handmade chawan (maccha bowl) from Taisengama with a modern interpretation of the typical arabesques (karakusa).
Taisengama is one of the kilns in Ookawachiyama near Imari with a centuries-old history, run by the Kawazoe family. They preserve the techniques of intricate, difficult hand painting and traditional glazes. They blend these historical production techniques with modern influences and artistic designs.
