Very thin, handcrafted porcelain from a small family-run workshop in Chaozhou, with hand-painted decoration. Simple, good-quality everyday ceramics, as commonly found throughout Chaozhou.
The name refers to the illusion that the cup appears deeper than it actually is. Shan Shui refers to the painting and means mountain-water, a classical motif in Chinese painting.
