Finely crafted clay teapot with a handle (Japanese: kyusu), grey-brown, glazed inside, with a strainer integrated into the spout for preparing Japanese teas in the way of Sencha-do (leaf teas such as Sencha, Gyokuro, etc.). Handmade by Maruta Shuichi in the Hoshino ceramic style. Wood-fired in a noborigama (Japanese hanging kiln) called Jugomori in the village of Hoshino.
