Other Indian Style Black Tea

Other black teas of Indian style are produced in many former colonies, such as Indonesia, Malaysia and in many African countries. These teas are processed into simple, fully oxidised black teas, very much like Ceylon or Assam teas. In northern regions of India, like Dooars or Sikkim, but also in Nepal, simple, cheaper teas are processed by briefly oxidising the entire leaves, similar to the kind of a Darjeeling First Flush. Other black teas of Indian style are generally speaking rather simple every-day teas, which all display their own characteristics of taste according to the place they come from.
